‘Color Diary’ are a series pieces extend development of ‘Liquid Memories’, which focus on exploring color change during beverages making process, presenting different hues of beverages motions. The colors works are inspired by some food coloring in culinary industry, initially I explored the blue hue that made from butterfly pea flower to do some experiments and transform the visual language present in sculpture. And with a few drops of lemon can turn this azure, blue tea into a deep purple color, while with more soda water, it will change into deep blue hue. This exploration evoked me to do more experiments of different colors and presented in various sculptural pieces, such as pink, purple and cyan.
(These pieces are still developed in research and experiments.)
